Two bus loads from Brooklyn and Bronx, New York undoubtedly filled one side of the entire banquet hall, Tables 1-17, whose combined total purchased sales of 120 Tickets. Nonetheless, often time you, just can't please everyone, especially when one claims her occupation is in heath care. Finding herself to be the most critical:
"There was settlement in my Sprite drink. Rice was cooked too hard. Baked chicken not good. However, the fried chicken is good. I also think the food should be labeled because you never know who may have food allergies" -Karin (health care profession)
More to the point, I appreciate the warm greeting from Pastor Kevin Smallwood with a cheerful "Hello" and a friendly and pleasant staff to everybody, as well as crossing paths with old friends. Soulful soul food and Oh Snap, I didn't hold my mule... the dance floor rocked and kicked-off with... you guessed it... "the electric slide!"... Who could resist? I too enjoyed the delicious food and setting. The fried whiting fish, hands down, is my all time preferred choice. The Lawery, Johnsons, James and Money Families were in the house, seated alongside my son and I and thought the "line dance was running good".
Since then their attendance has nearly tripled. I'm so pleased to report Two Fish 🔻 Five Loaves served over 800+ this year alone at Clinton Manor Banquets, Union NJ. That's definitely multiplying two fish and five loaves... "Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude".
And, oh yes... alcohol was sold and served on the premises. Now, okay, I understand what many of you are saying and thinking, "a Pastor...!!" (one point of view) and stating, "well... Jesus turn water into wine" (flip side of the coin)....So I simply ask, without passing judgment, as a servant of the Lord and business owner, "what would you do?" Post your comments and left your voice be heard.

Returning a second time to the 5th Annual Two Fish 🔻 Five Loaves Mother's Day Celebration, held at the Clinton Manor Banquets, Sunday, May 14, 2017, with two and half years passing of my Mother, was somewhat bitter sweet; however it was the perfect place to celebrate with Owner/Chef, Pastor Kevin Smallwood; Host, Liz Black, Doctor Bob Lee and All and sold out seats!

Vendors were present, such as Khansia's, located in Eastern Pennsylvania captured my full attention with the "perfect sampler" and not your typical banana pudding; inspired by her love of dessert that seemed really hard to find. The concept and idea of Khansia's is to create a convenient way to enjoy banana pudding on-the-go, in one convenient package, stored within ice cream containers.
It was so amazing to witness the free samples literately fly off the table. "What do you think, I asked Loretta, a very interesting patron. "It's delicious and not too sweet...perfect", she replied. Of course, I cast my ballet. My favorite: "Lover's Lane", the spot-on combination of strawberry and banana. #lickedbowls
